Description
Research Triangle Park, NC based company has an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional. You must have at least 10 years of IT sales experience in the financial services industry. You must be a hard working self-starter and be accountable to the agreed upon goals. You will work out of your home office to develop and close new business. This is a growth position. You must be able to work under a base plus commission plan with a prior income level of $100k.
Essential Duties
- Meet or exceed established sales order targets within assigned region
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and drive services revenue growth
- Seek meetings and develop relationships with key decision makers and C-level executives
- Follow established sales standard work reporting protocols, to include call reporting, monthly activity/results reporting, traction metrics updating, and sales opportunity funnel administration.
- Develop services tuned towards customer needs in the financial sector
- Develop, execute, and manage sales plans
- Work with high performance team to deliver best in class customer service and solutions.
- Attend tradeshows, conferences, and other meetings to build network and identify emerging trends and potential customer needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- At least 10 years of business development experience with 5 years selling IT services in the Financial Services or Transportation/Logistics verticals.
- Energy and determination to jump in and grow sales pipeline and close business
- Able to work independently in a goal oriented organization
- Love the hunt and the sales process
- Consistent employment history with demonstrated sales success to achieve 3 to 5 million revenue
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills
- Ability to structure deals to specific situations and needs
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and business solutions clearly
- Small company or start-up company sales experience a plus
- Knowledge of Cognos 8, Business Objects, OBIEE, Teradata, Microsoft, SQL Reporting Services. SQL Server Reporting Services, SSIS, Informatica, InfoSphere a plus

Salary: Up to $100,000.00
First Year Potential: $150,000.00
