Description
Research Triangle Park, NC based company has an excellent opportunity for an experienced top-notch Marketing Communications professional to generate leads, expand revenue, grow market share, and effectively position the company in the marketplace. The Marketing Manager will report to the Sales and Marketing Director to assist and meet the sales team’s goals and to expand presence and credibility in the market. The successful candidate will carry out activities in the general support of marketing and marketing communications efforts, including developing and managing print and electronic collateral, website content, search engine optimization, Google Adwords, field communications, social media, public relations, white papers, events, and special projects. You must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience and willing to be accountable to the agreed upon goals associated with lead generation and successful marketing metrics. You must be able to multi-task and work with small company resources. You must be able to think strategically while rolling up your sleeves in a rapidly growing environment.
Essential Duties
- Research and write communications/marketing materials as part of sales and marketing initiatives
- Customize product, program and specialized marketing material for use by the sales teams
- Coordinate the flow of communications documents to ensure they follow the prescribed review process
- Perform quality assurance of all communications
- Manage and measure all lead generation activities
- Manage search engine optimization process and Google Adwords
- Produce and distribute internal reports as needed
- Manage printing/production/vendor relationships, budgets, and expenditures
- Produce competitive market study analysis reports
- Attend tradeshows, conferences, and other meetings to build network and identify emerging trends and potential customer needs
- All other duties assigned by management
Qualifications
- MBA required
- At least 5 years experience in Marketing Communications in Technology field
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Able to assist in the development of product demonstrations
- Energy and determination needed to organize and represent company and product suite at trade shows, conferences, seminars, etc.
- Knowledge/proficiency in Social Media as well as traditional media
- Demonstrated success in Search Engine Optimization tools and Google Adwords
- Experience with small software companies preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft .NET platform a plus
- Small company or start-up company sales experience a plus

Salary: Up to $60,000.00
First Year Potential: $80,000.00
