Description
Research Triangle Park, NC based company has an excellent opportunity for an experienced top-notch Inside Sales professional. You must have 3-5 years of technical sales experience preferably in the software industry. You must be a hard working self-starter and be accountable to agreed upon goals. You will work an assigned geographic territory to qualify leads, close new business, and develop regional client accounts. You must enjoy working in a small but growing environment and eager to make an impact. You must be able to multi-task and work with small company resources.
Essential Duties
- Meet or exceed established sales targets within assigned region
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Qualify leads and build relationships with key decision makers
- Follow established sales standard work reporting protocols, to include call reporting, monthly activity/results reporting, traction metrics updating, and sales opportunity funnel administration.
- Attend tradeshows, conferences, and other meetings to build network and identify emerging trends and potential customer needs
- Willing to travel on a very minimal basis
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree required
- 3-5 years of demonstrated success in technical sales
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Able to assist in the development of product demonstrations
- Energy and determination to represent company and product suite at trade shows, conferences, seminars, etc.
- Must be a hunter and enjoy the sales process
- Willing to follow internal sales process and maintain/develop sales pipeline
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts in the .NET developer environments
- Experience with small software companies preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft .NET platform a plus
- Small company or start-up company sales experience a plus

Salary: Up to $40,000.00
First Year Potential: $120,000.00
